Cabell County, WV (September 18, 2024) – A 9-year-old boy tragically died after a side-by-side crash on Monday evening, September 16, on Cavill Creek Rd. The young boy, a student at West Hamlin Elementary School, was taken to Cabell Huntington Hospital. Where he succumbed to his injuries.

The Lincoln County community is mourning the loss, with counselors and crisis teams available to support students and families at West Hamlin Elementary and Guyan Valley Middle School, where the boy’s siblings attend.
