Byhalia, MS (January 6, 2025) – A police chase in Byhalia turned deadly Saturday night, leaving two people dead and two others critically injured following a two-car collision. The crash occurred around 8:00 PM near the intersection of St. Paul Rd and Dockery Dr, according to Marshall County Sheriff Kenny Dickerson.
Reports indicate that a Byhalia Police Department officer was pursuing a 2020 GMC Acadia when the vehicle collided with a 2015 Ford F150. The driver of the GMC SUV and a passenger in the Ford pickup truck were both pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Ford and another passenger were critically injured and transported to Regional One Health in Memphis for treatment. Their current conditions have not been disclosed.
