Butler Twp, PA (March 3, 2025) – A motor vehicle accident with a reported rollover occurred Friday afternoon at the intersection of Evans City Rd and New Castle Rd in Butler Township, near The Hoagie Shop.
Emergency responders from Stations 3, 38, and 99 were dispatched to the scene at approximately 12:54 p.m. Initial reports indicated a rollover, though confirmation from respondents stated that two vehicles were involved and remained in the middle of the road. However, witnesses passing by reported seeing one vehicle on its roof with considerable damage.
By 12:56 p.m., emergency crews confirmed no entrapment, and two individuals were evaluated by EMS. Additional response units, including RQ-3 and EN-38, arrived shortly after to assist with the scene. Despite the severity of the crash, both patients declined transportation to the hospital.
Authorities worked to clear the roadway, and by 1:35 p.m., the scene was fully cleared, and the incident was marked as terminated. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
