Butler, PA (November 15, 2024) – Emergency responders from Stations 21 and 51 were dispatched late Wednesday night to a motor vehicle accident involving two vehicles at the intersection of Rt 19 and Rt 228. The incident was reported at approximately 11:15 PM and involved multiple injuries.
Initial reports from a 911 caller indicated that one male patient was experiencing a seizure, while another had a neck injury and was unresponsive. A female passenger also sustained chest pain. Multiple emergency units, including SQ-98 and RQ-21, responded to provide critical care and transport.
By 11:37 PM, three transporting units were requested, with patients being transported to Allegheny General Hospital (AGH) and an additional unknown hospital. The scene was cleared shortly before midnight, with the last emergency unit leaving at 12:19 AM.
The cause of the collision is under investigation. Traffic disruptions were reported in the area during the response.
