Butler, PA (December 06, 2024) – Emergency responders were dispatched at 19:32 on December 5 to the intersection of Route 68 and N Eberhart for a motor vehicle accident (MVA) involving one patient with a head injury.
Upon arrival at 19:38, 83-1 confirmed that two vehicles were involved in the collision, located in the intersection, with minor damage. At 19:40, units RQ-3-2 and 99-3 arrived on scene. By 19:43, Lt-3-2 reported that Route 68 was shut down, and PennDOT was on-site for traffic control, with EN-38 also on the scene.
The patient with the head injury was transported by 99-3 to Butler Memorial Hospital (BMH) for further treatment. The incident was officially terminated at 20:13, with the scene cleared and traffic reopened.
