Butler County, MO (January 13, 2025) – A two-vehicle collision occurred Saturday afternoon on Westwood Blvd, approximately two miles south of Poplar Bluff. Emergency responders arrived quickly to provide aid to the injured and investigate the circumstances of the crash.
The accident was reported at approximately 12:10 PM and involved a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee and a 2017 RAM 1500. According to authorities, the collision occurred when the Jeep failed to yield to the RAM. The Jeep sustained extensive damage and was towed from the scene by Rushins Towing, while the RAM sustained moderate damage and was removed by its owner.
Three individuals were reported injured in the crash. The driver of the Jeep, a 24-year-old male from Poplar Bluff, MO, along with a 53-year-old male occupant from O’Fallon, MO, sustained minor injuries and were transported by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. The driver of the RAM, a 40-year-old male from Poplar Bluff, also sustained injuries and was taken to the same medical facility for treatment.
