Butler County, MO (December 24, 2024) – A two-car crash occurred Monday afternoon on Business US 67 at Industrial Park Rd, resulting in significant damages and moderate injuries to one driver. The accident was reported at approximately 4:30 p.m. and was investigated by Trooper E. N. Stinson.
According to the report, a 2020 Ram ProMaster driven by a 30-year-old female from Harviell, MO, collided with a 2002 Cadillac DeVille driven by a 40-year-old male from Poplar Bluff, MO. The crash occurred as the westbound Ram ProMaster struck the side of the northbound Cadillac DeVille while attempting a turn. Both vehicles sustained total damage and were towed from the scene.
The driver of the Cadillac DeVille suffered moderate injuries and was transported via ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. The male driver was reportedly not using a safety device at the time of the crash. The female driver of the Ram ProMaster was unharmed and was wearing a safety device.
The collision remains under investigation as authorities work to determine additional details about the circumstances leading to the crash.
