Emergency responders from Stations 1 and 99 were dispatched to the scene at approximately 9:36 p.m. Initial reports indicated that the male victim was still lying in the middle of the roadway when crews arrived. Butler City Police were already on the scene, confirming that the individual was experiencing back and leg pain.
At 9:38 p.m., Engine 1-2 arrived and established command, with EMS unit 99-2 reaching the scene shortly after. Emergency medical personnel assessed the injured pedestrian before transporting him via Basic Life Support (BLS) to Butler Memorial Hospital (BMH) at 9:51 p.m.
