Bullhead City, AZ (January 9, 2025) – A man sustained serious injuries after his vehicle rolled and came to rest against a restaurant near the Riverview Mall on Highway 95 in Bullhead City on Wednesday. Emergency responders extricated the driver from his heavily damaged black GMC Hummer following the crash.
The incident occurred when the vehicle left the roadway, climbed an embankment on the south side of the Riverview Mall parking lot, struck a tree, and hit a curb. The impact caused the Hummer to spin and roll before coming to a stop against the south side of a freestanding restaurant.
Bullhead City Fire Battalion Chief Tom Queen indicated the driver might have suffered a medical episode before the crash. Firefighters and paramedics worked diligently to extricate the man from the semi-crushed vehicle using specialized equipment. The driver was placed on a backboard and transported to Western Arizona Regional Medical Center (WARMC) for treatment. His current condition has not been disclosed.
The crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the contributing factors.
