Bryan, TX (January 13, 2025) – A devastating head-on collision on Sunday morning claimed the lives of two drivers and left a passenger critically injured. The crash occurred at approximately 1:55 a.m. in the 6800 block of John Sharp Parkway.
According to the Bryan Police Department, a 2017 Honda Accord traveling southbound in the northbound lanes collided head-on with a 2019 Honda Civic traveling northbound. Both drivers, identified as 29-year-old Rebecca Franklin and 19-year-old Nikolas Trapp, were pronounced dead at the scene.
A passenger in the Honda Civic sustained critical injuries and was transported to a nearby medical facility for treatment. The individual’s condition remains critical.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the crash to determine the factors that led to the wrong-way driving and subsequent collision.
