Brooklyn, NY (September 13, 2024) – A tragic accident occurred early Friday, September 13, at 4th Ave and Belt Pkwy, where a cyclist was struck and killed. The victim, identified as 43-year-old Gerardo Santiago De Los Santos. Was riding westbound on Belt Pkwy when a 2017 Dodge Challenger, traveling eastbound, hit him.

When police arrived at the scene, Santiago De Los Santos was found lying in the roadway. Emergency responders rushed him to Lutheran Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
