Bridport, VT (February 24, 2025) – Three people were injured in a single-vehicle crash on Happy Valley Road late Saturday night, according to Vermont State Police.
The accident occurred around 11:20 p.m. when 22-year-old Noah Quesnel, of Middlebury, lost control of his 2011 BMW while driving at an excessively high speed on an icy roadway. The vehicle crashed, leaving all occupants injured.
Quesnel and one passenger, identified as 30-year-old Adrian Malpica Fuentes of Bridport, sustained serious bodily injuries and were transported to UVM Medical Center in Burlington for treatment. Authorities noted that Fuentes was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.

Speed-Related and DUI Crashes in Vermont
Speeding and impaired driving are two of the leading causes of serious crashes in Vermont, particularly in rural areas where icy roads and poor visibility increase the risk of losing control. When high speeds and dangerous road conditions combine, even a single-vehicle crash can lead to devastating injuries.
Victims of accidents involving reckless or impaired drivers often face significant medical expenses, rehabilitation costs, and emotional distress. Vermont law allows injured individuals to seek compensation for damages through insurance claims or legal action. Understanding one’s rights can be crucial in securing financial and medical support.
