Bridgeton Twp, MI (December 29, 2024) – A fatal crash occurred Friday evening in Bridgeton Township, claiming the life of a man and injuring a woman. Deputies from the Newaygo County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene at approximately 11:15 PM near S. Orchard Ave and W. 120th St.
Authorities confirmed that the driver, a 53-year-old man from Grant, was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not been released pending notification of family. The passenger, a 48-year-old Grant woman, sustained injuries and was transported to a hospital for treatment. The extent of her injuries remains unknown.
