Bridgeport, WV (February 27, 2025) – A tragic accident involving a dirt bike claimed the life of one person on Langtown Rd in the Bridgeport area on February 26.
According to the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office, the crash occurred at approximately 11:30 a.m. and involved two vehicles. Emergency responders arrived at the scene to provide aid, but unfortunately, one individual was pronounced dead.
Authorities have not yet released the name of the deceased, pending notification of the family. The Harrison County Sheriff’s Office conducted an accident reconstruction at the scene, and the investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
