Bridgeland, UT (September 19, 2024) – Two tribal members sustained critical injuries after a Chevrolet Blazer collided with a flatbed tow truck on US 40 Wednesday afternoon near mile marker 97. The crash occurred around 3:35 p.m., with one victim airlifted and the other transported by ambulance for medical care.
The Bureau of Indian Affairs is leading the investigation, with assistance from the Utah Highway Patrol. Both directions of US 40 were temporarily closed following the accident.
