Bradley County, AR (January 20, 2025) – A tragic head-on collision occurred on Arkansas State Highway 8 at approximately 3:00 p.m., resulting in two fatalities and multiple injuries.
The crash involved a westbound 1982 Toyota T100 and an eastbound 2023 GMC Sierra. Both vehicles veered left of the centerline, colliding in the middle of the highway. Emergency responders from Bradley County were quick to the scene, providing care to the injured victims and assessing the damage. Unfortunately, the drivers of the Toyota, 58-year-old Jerry Cotham of Fountain Hill, and the GMC, 60-year-old Jeffery Pinson of Longview, were pronounced deceased. Their remains were taken to Frazer’s Funeral Home.
The passengers of the GMC Sierra, identified as 23-year-old Emily Rayford of Oak Grove, Louisiana, and 22-year-old William Meeks of Crossett, suffered injuries and were transported to Ashley County Medical Center for treatment. The extent of their injuries remains undisclosed.
