Bradford, ME (November 8, 2024) – A collision involving a horse-drawn buggy and a vehicle on Main Road early Friday morning left four people injured and resulted in the tragic loss of a horse. The incident occurred shortly after 7:30 a.m., prompting a response from Maine State Police and emergency crews.
According to a news release from the Maine Department of Public Safety, the driver of a white 2017 Ford SUV, identified as 28-year-old Kendra Page of Bradford, attempted to pass the buggy while an oncoming vehicle approached. In an effort to avoid the oncoming car, Page struck the buggy from behind, ejecting its three occupants. Tragically, the horse sustained severe injuries and was later euthanized.
