Braddock Heights, MD (February 4, 2025) – Emergency responders were called to the scene of a serious head-on collision involving two vehicles on Route 40 near Gambrill Park Road early Tuesday morning.
The crash was reported at approximately 12:56 a.m., prompting a response from Frederick County Fire and EMS crews. Engine 121 arrived on the scene at 1:03 a.m. and confirmed that two vehicles had collided head-on, blocking the roadway.
Due to the severity of the crash, emergency crews requested an additional Basic Life Support (BLS) unit at 1:09 a.m. to assist in treating the injured. The exact number of victims and the extent of their injuries have not yet been disclosed.
