Bothell, WA (March 5, 2025) – A tragic crash on Interstate 405 near Bothell claimed the life of a 14-year-old driver and left three teenage passengers injured early Saturday morning.
The accident occurred around 1:50 a.m. near the Canyon Park neighborhood, according to authorities. Reports indicate that a Honda CR-V traveling on I-405 veered off the roadway near milepost 26, collided with a guardrail, and came to a stop at the bottom of an embankment.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene and pronounced the young driver deceased. Three teenage passengers, including one from Everett, sustained injuries and were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances leading up to the crash.
