Boone, MO (September 12, 2024) – A multi-vehicle crash on I-70 eastbound at the 120-mile marker left four people injured on Wednesday morning. The collision involved six vehicles, with the crash reportedly caused when a 2024 Hyundai Tucson failed to stop for traffic.
The occupants of the Hyundai, including driver Sai K. Reddy, 31, sustained minor injuries. Three passengers in the vehicle, Reshma C. Mantri, 22, Vasavi Rayala, 22, and Chenchu Navyasree, 25, were transported to University Hospital for treatment. Two suffered moderate injuries, while one was listed in serious condition.
Several other vehicles were damaged, with two cars towed from the scene. The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing, and further details are expected as it progresses.
