Bonneville County, ID – Teen Dies After Vehicle Submerged in Canal at 145th N & 115th E

Bonneville County, ID (September 16, 2024) – A tragic accident occurred on Sunday, September 15, when a 17-year-old boy died after a vehicle he was in crashed into a canal. The crash happened around 8:45 p.m. at the intersection of 145th N and 115th E.

Deputies rescued two juveniles, aged 17 and 12, from the submerged car. Both were taken to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center, where the 17-year-old, identified as Jade “Dawson” Grover, passed away. The 12-year-old remains hospitalized.

The Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding this fatal crash.
