Blades, DE (September 10, 2024) – A serious accident on Sussex Hwy southbound at Ockels Dr Monday left four people injured, including one person trapped. Emergency crews, including medics and Seaford responders, arrived at the scene to assist. By 5:01 p.m., extrication was complete. A pediatric patient with serious injuries was airlifted by Delaware State Police Aviation Trooper 2 to AI Dupont Hospital, arriving at 5:49 p.m.

The conditions of the remaining injured patients have not been disclosed. Authorities are continuing their investigation, and more updates will follow as details become available.
