Birmingham, AL (February 28, 2025) – Firefighters rescued one person from a structure fire in Birmingham on Thursday evening.
According to Birmingham Fire and Rescue Service (BFRS), crews were dispatched to the 300 block of 4th Court W at approximately 5:30 p.m. Upon arrival, firefighters were informed that an occupant was trapped inside the burning structure.
Rescue teams immediately began a search and fire suppression operation, successfully locating and extracting the individual. The victim was then transported to UAB Hospital for further medical treatment. The severity of their injuries has not been disclosed.
Authorities confirmed that no other injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
