Bexar County, TX – Fatal Pedestrian Crash on US Hwy 87 at FM 1516

Bexar County, TX (September 15, 2024) – A pedestrian was fatally struck early Saturday morning at the intersection of US Hwy 87 and FM 1516. The accident occurred around 12:45 a.m. when the pedestrian was hit by two vehicles.

The first driver told deputies they swerved to avoid another vehicle but accidentally struck the pedestrian. A second vehicle, described as a white Jeep, also hit the victim and continued eastbound without stopping. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene, and no other injuries were reported. Authorities are still investigating the incident.
