Beloit, KS (January 14, 2025) – A fatal crash occurred Monday morning on the K-14 highway, approximately 4.5 miles north of Beloit, resulting in one death and another individual suffering serious injuries. The Kansas Highway Patrol is investigating the incident, which took place around 6:50 a.m.
Preliminary reports indicate that a northbound Toyota pickup truck crossed the center line and collided head-on with a Ford Escape traveling in the opposite direction. The driver of the Toyota was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver of the Ford Escape sustained serious injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for emergency medical care.
Authorities have not yet released the identities of those involved. Traffic on K-14 was temporarily affected as emergency crews managed the scene and began their investigation into the cause of the collision.
