The crash happened at approximately 6:03 p.m. when a 2001 Toyota four-door sedan traveling southbound on Trask Parkway struck a pedestrian on the roadway. It is currently unclear if the pedestrian died at the scene or was transported to a hospital before succumbing to their injuries.
Authorities have not yet released the name of the deceased. The driver of the Toyota was not injured in the incident.
