Highway Accidents in Missouri
High-speed travel on interstates like I-49 can increase the likelihood of severe crashes, especially when driver errors, such as overcorrection, occur. Missouri traffic data highlights that improper lane changes and overcorrection are common contributing factors in single-vehicle rollovers and other serious highway accidents.
To minimize the risk of highway collisions, drivers are encouraged to maintain a safe following distance, avoid sudden steering maneuvers, and remain aware of surrounding traffic conditions. For commercial vehicles, proper visibility and adherence to safety protocols play a critical role in preventing accidents.
