Barton County, MO (January 28, 2025) – A two-vehicle accident occurred Monday afternoon on Northwest 90th Lane, three miles south of Liberal, MO, resulting in injuries to one driver. The crash was reported at approximately 4:18 p.m. and involved a 2018 RAM truck and a 2007 Chevrolet Impala.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the collision happened when the driver of the RAM truck, a 64-year-old male from Lamar, MO, failed to yield to the Chevrolet Impala, which was traveling westbound. Both vehicles sustained extensive damage and were towed from the scene by Parks Towing of Lamar.
The driver of the Chevrolet, an 18-year-old female from Liberal, MO, sustained injuries in the crash. She was transported by a private party to Mercy Hospital in Pittsburg, KS, for treatment. The driver of the RAM truck was reportedly uninjured.
