Bartlett Twp., MN (January 24, 2025) – Emergency responders were quick to the scene of an accident involving two vehicles at the intersection of Highway 210 and County Road 11 in Bartlett Township, Todd County. The collision occurred on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at approximately 12:54 p.m.
According to preliminary reports, a 2023 Hyundai Santa Fe traveling northbound on County Road 11 collided with a 2015 Toyota traveling eastbound on Highway 210. Both vehicles had their airbags deployed during the impact. Emergency responders, including Todd County Sherriff’s Office, Staples Fire, and Ambulance, arrived promptly to provide aid.
The drivers of the vehicles, identified as Patricia Ann Hinzmann, 79, of Clarissa, MN, and Justin Douglas Ossefoort, 39, of Sioux Falls, SD, both sustained non-life-threatening injuries. They were transported to Staples Hospital for further evaluation and care. Fortunately, seat belts were in use by both drivers, and no alcohol was reported to be a factor in the crash. The road conditions at the time were dry.
