Barry, MO (September 4, 2024) – A serious accident involving a motorcycle and a car occurred on Tuesday, September 3, on MO 37, one mile north of Seligman. The crash happened at 1:40 p.m. when a 2008 Honda motorcycle, driven by Christopher Clark, 36, of Springdale, AR, crossed the center line and struck a 2012 Nissan Maxima driven by Estefanie Meza Gonzalez, 28, of Seligman, MO.

The impact caused the motorcycle to overturn and collide with a fence. Clark sustained serious injuries and was airlifted by Mercy Lifeline to Mercy Rogers Hospital. Meza Gonzalez, who was driving southbound, escaped with minor damage to her vehicle and drove away from the scene.

Authorities are investigating the crash to determine the exact cause and will provide updates as more information becomes available.
