Barry, MO (September 3, 2024) – A pedestrian was injured Monday evening after being hit by a vehicle on Hwy 76 in Exeter. The incident occurred around 8:40 p.m., involving a 2008 Honda CRV traveling eastbound.
The vehicle’s side mirror struck 34-year-old Ruie J. Hunter, who was walking along the white line of the roadway. The driver, 25-year-old Lucas A. Roller from Exeter, was able to drive the car away from the scene. Hunter sustained moderate injuries and was transported to Mercy Hospital in Cassville for treatment.
