Barry, MO (January 27, 2025) – An accident involving injuries occurred on Sunday afternoon, January 26, 2025, on MO 37, two miles south of Cassville. The collision took place at approximately 12:40 PM and involved two vehicles. Emergency responders, including paramedics and fire crews, arrived promptly to provide care to the injured individuals.
The crash involved a 2003 Buick Century driven by a 15-year-old male from Monett, MO, and a 2025 Volvo VML 760 operated by a 58-year-old male from Indianapolis, Indiana. According to reports, the Volvo attempted to pass the Buick in the left lane as the Buick was making a left turn, resulting in the collision. Both drivers sustained injuries and were transported by EMS to Mercy Cassville for further evaluation and treatment.
The Buick sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene, while the Volvo, which had minor damage, was towed by Thomas Towing.
