Barnstable, MA (January 30, 2025) – A pedestrian sustained serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle in the Marstons Mills section of Barnstable on Wednesday morning.
Emergency responders from the Centerville-Osterville-Marstons Mills Fire Department were dispatched to the scene on Flint St just before 10 a.m. Upon arrival, first responders, including paramedics, assessed and treated the injured pedestrian before they were transported to a med flight helicopter for emergency airlift to a hospital in Boston. Authorities have identified the victim only as an adult.
The Barnstable Police Department is conducting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash. At this time, no further details about the incident or the vehicle involved have been released.
