Bangor, ME (February 17, 2025) – A Bangor man was fatally struck by an SUV on Saturday evening while walking on Kenduskeag Avenue.
According to the Bangor Police Department, the incident occurred just before 7 p.m. near Glenwood Avenue. The pedestrian, identified as 69-year-old Jeffrey Green of Bangor, was hit by a southbound SUV. The driver told authorities that Green appeared suddenly in front of the vehicle and may have been chasing after a dog at the time of the collision.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene, but Green succumbed to his injuries shortly afterward.
