Azle, TX (January 27, 2025) – Emergency crews responded to a major accident involving entrapment on Highway 199 near Stewart St in Azle on Sunday evening.
According to reports, at least two vehicles were involved in the crash, which left one person trapped. Azle Fire Department’s Engine 52 and Medic 52, along with the Azle Police Department, were on the scene. Tragically, authorities confirmed that one individual was pronounced deceased at the scene. The identity of the deceased, a Parker County resident, has not yet been released pending notification of family.
The circumstances leading up to the crash remain under investigation by local law enforcement. Lanes along Highway 199 were temporarily closed as crews worked to investigate the accident and clear the scene. Motorists were advised to avoid the area.
