Avon, ME (September 12, 2024) – A 14-year-old girl suffered serious injuries when her utility task vehicle (UTV) rolled over on Tuesday, September 10. The accident occurred in a driveway at 136 Cross Rd, where the teen was visiting family friends.

According to officials, the teen lost control of the Bobcat UTV, causing it to tip onto the driver’s side, trapping her feet. A passenger managed to lift the vehicle off her feet. Paramedics transported her to MaineHealth Franklin Hospital in Farmington.

The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident, and further details are pending.
