Austin, TX (March 2, 2025) – A two-vehicle crash in East Austin on Saturday afternoon resulted in one person being hospitalized.
According to Austin-Travis County EMS (ATCEMS), the accident took place in the 2900 block of E 12th St. Emergency responders arrived at the scene and located an unresponsive individual who was trapped inside their vehicle due to the impact.
Firefighters and medics worked to extricate the victim before transporting them to a nearby trauma center. Fortunately, officials reported that the person sustained only minor injuries. The extent of damage to the vehicles involved and the cause of the crash remain under investigation.
