According to Austin-Travis County EMS (ATCEMS), the crash was reported shortly after 7:00 p.m. and was classified as a major collision, requiring multiple ambulances and emergency command resources.
Five people were involved in the accident. One adult sustained critical injuries and was transported to a hospital for emergency treatment. Additionally, three pediatric patients suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries, while another adult also sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
