Austin, TX (January 29, 2025) – A tragic two-vehicle collision in northeast Austin left one person dead and another severely injured early Monday morning. The incident occurred at approximately 7:15 AM at the intersection of Samsung Blvd and East Parmer Ln.
Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services (ATCEMS) responded to the crash and initiated a vehicle rescue upon arrival. Despite their efforts to revive one of the patients, the individual was pronounced deceased at the scene. Another individual sustained serious injuries and was transported to St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center for treatment.
The identities of the victims have not yet been released, and local authorities are investigating the cause of the collision. The area was temporarily closed to traffic as emergency crews worked to assist the victims and clear the scene.
