Aurora, CO (January 30, 2025) – A driver lost their life in a fatal crash involving a semi-truck early Thursday morning at the intersection of East 32nd Ave and North Airport Blvd.
According to the Aurora Police Department, the crash occurred just before 3:00 AM when a sedan traveling southbound on North Airport Blvd collided with the back of a semi-truck. The truck was making a left turn from northbound Airport Blvd onto East 32nd Ave at the time of impact.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene and pronounced the driver of the sedan dead. No other injuries were reported, as the two drivers were the only individuals involved in the crash.
Authorities have not yet confirmed the exact cause of the collision, but they are investigating speed as a possible factor.
Following the crash, the intersection remained closed in all directions for several hours while officials conducted their investigation and cleared the scene. The roadway reopened around 8:15 AM.
