Arlington, MN (September 9, 2024) – A crash at the intersection of MN Highway 5 and 2nd Ave in Arlington left one person injured. The accident occurred at 3:48 p.m. when a Jeep Grand Cherokee, driven by 18-year-old Kleberth Said Perez, collided with a Ford Escape driven by 83-year-old Jean Walters.

Walters sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Ridgeview Sibley Medical Center. Perez was uninjured in the crash. Authorities are continuing to investigate the incident for further details.
