Anchorage, AK (September 16, 2024) – A woman was tragically killed after being struck by a Honda Pilot in Anchorage’s Spenard neighborhood. Police were called to the scene at 3:45 a.m., closing five blocks of Minnesota Dr between Benson Blvd and Spenard Rd for investigation.
The driver involved remained on the scene and cooperated with authorities. Medics arrived but declared the pedestrian dead at the scene. The investigation is ongoing as police look into the details of the collision.
