The crash was first reported at approximately 5:17 a.m., with California Highway Patrol (CHP) and Santa Ana emergency units quickly responding to the scene.
Initial reports indicated that the incident occurred on a curve in the roadway, involving a black vehicle. Emergency responders found two women outside the vehicle who had sustained injuries from the crash.
