Amelia, VA (September 28, 2024) – A tragic accident occurred Friday evening, September 27 in Amelia County, resulting in the death of a juvenile. Virginia State Police responded to a private driveway near the 12000 block of Old Chula Road just before 7:30 PM to investigate the incident.
According to authorities, a 2017 Chevrolet was moving within the driveway when a juvenile male entered the area and was struck by the vehicle. Emergency responders transported the juvenile to a nearby hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The Virginia State Police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
