Algoma, WI (November 7, 2024) – A tragic two-vehicle accident occurred on November 6, resulting in the death of one driver and injuries to another. The collision took place on WIS 21 at the intersection with Leonard Point Road around 5:55 a.m.
According to the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office, deputies and first responders from the Algoma and Oshkosh Fire Departments arrived at the scene shortly after the incident was reported. Despite their efforts, one of the drivers was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the second vehicle was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
