Preliminary reports indicate that a 2005 Ford F-150, driven by a 45-year-old male from Aberdeen, was traveling westbound on 2nd Ave NE when it struck a bicyclist on the road’s shoulder. The bicyclist sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. Authorities are investigating whether the cyclist was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
