Allentown, PA (March 8, 2025) – A 17-year-old pedestrian was left critically injured after being struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run accident at the intersection of American Parkway and Gordon Street early Friday morning.
The crash occurred at approximately 3:40 a.m., prompting a response from Allentown police and paramedics. Officers arrived to find the injured teen lying in the roadway, unresponsive and suffering from multiple traumatic injuries. Medics quickly transported the victim to a local hospital, where he remains in critical but stable condition.
Police say the driver of the vehicle, a 22-year-old man, turned himself in to authorities later on Friday afternoon.
