Shreveport, LA (March 6, 2025) – A fatal single-vehicle crash in south Caddo Parish on Wednesday afternoon left one person dead and another injured, according to the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office.
The accident occurred just after 12:30 p.m. in the 13800 block of Keithville Keatchie Rd. Deputies arrived to find a pickup truck in a ditch on the east side of the roadway.
Emergency responders, including Caddo Fire Districts No. 4 and No. 6, provided medical care at the scene before transporting both the driver and passenger to Ochsner LSU Health. Tragically, the driver succumbed to their injuries upon arrival at the hospital. The passenger’s injuries were reported as non-life-threatening.
Authorities have not yet determined the cause of the crash, and an investigation remains ongoing.
