Truck Accidents in Missouri
Collisions involving semi-trucks, like the one on I-70 at mile marker 117, can have severe consequences due to the size and weight of these vehicles. While truck drivers are highly trained, accidents still occur due to factors such as blind spots, lane changes, fatigue, and adverse road conditions.
Missouri follows an at-fault insurance system, meaning that those injured in a truck accident may seek compensation from the responsible driver’s insurance provider for medical expenses, lost wages, and other damages. Given the complexity of trucking accidents—including potential liability involving trucking companies and insurers—securing legal guidance can be essential for those involved.
To reduce the risk of semi-truck collisions, drivers should maintain safe following distances, avoid lingering in blind spots, and remain alert on highways. If you or a loved one has been injured in a truck crash, seeking professional support can help you navigate recovery and legal options.
