Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accidents in California
Hit-and-run pedestrian crashes, like the one on Magnolia Ave, are among the most devastating types of accidents. When drivers flee the scene, it delays critical medical attention, often worsening the victim’s outcome. Many of these incidents result from reckless driving, distraction, or failure to yield to pedestrians in crosswalks.
California law requires drivers involved in an accident to stop, provide aid, and report the incident. Leaving the scene of a crash with injuries or fatalities is a serious offense that can result in severe criminal charges. Meanwhile, families of victims may have legal options to seek justice and compensation for their loss.
